WhatsApp Templates by Purpose
Assign a Meta-approved WhatsApp template to each purpose (survey invite, Quick Review, data request), so automatic sends via WhatsApp API can go out without creating a new one every time.
Where to find it
Settings → WhatsApp Templates, in the section dedicated to purpose mapping, assignable per language.
Main steps
- Create (or choose among already approved) a template for each language.
- Open the purpose mapping and assign the template to the matching language.
- Only templates with Approved status from Meta can be assigned.
- Once assigned, automations, surveys and Quick Review that use the WhatsApp API invite find it automatically.
Caution
⚠ If a template's assignment is removed, WhatsApp API sends for that language stop working until another one is assigned.
⚠ Not to be confused with mass sending (Mass WhatsApp), which has its own guide.
⚠ Check the exact button text and status labels before publishing.
